We are very much enjoying our summer! We started June with various camps for Miss E! She attended her first Basketball camp at Central High School in Keller and loved it. She also returned to the 5th Ave Fine Arts Camp, here in the 76110. It has been two years she attended last, and enjoyed returning with two girlfriends, Sydney and Caroline. Although, we had a great surprise on Friday night's performances, our dear friend Loui Cuellar had been at camp all week with the girls! He is a few years older and it has been a while since they have all seen each other so they did not quite recognize one another. Loui was in town from Colorado visiting his grandparents. What a special treat to run in to him at the show.

I have had two weeks off this month, which has been wonderful. We enjoyed my first week off with a quick trip to the coast with mom. What a fun impromptu trip!! We stayed at a wonderful condo that overlooked the ocean... It was the perfect way to officially start my vacation!

The second week of vacation has been spent with family and friends! Our aunt Nina and cousin Karenina have been in town for about a week and we have really enjoyed hanging out with them. We have been swimming at KT and Frans, played cards, watched a world cup game (Mexico and Holland) and much more!! Everyone is heading out later this week, Eva to Illinois to visit grandparents, Karenina and Nina return to SA, and the Hernandez crew head to Holland for a few weeks. Cole and I go back to work on Monday, July 7th. So for now, pretty quiet in the 76110.

Comments from Eva:
1. "Mom, do you think "optimists" pray to God? I think they probably do..."
2. "Colman, does the things a great man should do." (said after he detailed and waxed my car for our road trip- 8 hours in the Texas heat!!) I agree with her 100%!!!
3. "Colman, you would have been a good pronouncer ". AKA: Announcer :)
