Life is full, busy and over all pretty GREAT! It is official, I have fallen victim to Facebook... Yes it has finally happened hence it has impacted my Blogging, clearly I am two months behind! Here is a brief recap of  August and September!!!

August, we wrapped up the summer and started a new school year. Life continues to be full of blessings, new learning and very busy! Eva continues eye therapy and although there is much improvement, her eyes are still not working together.:( Please continue to keep her in your thoughts and prayers. It can be very tiring at times and frustrating as she tackles reading and doing eye exercises at the end of an already long day and after 1hr+ of homework. She is a trooper most of the time, but we all get a little "over it" at times.

We are all very ready for fall weather, and have enjoyed the very few glimpses we have had so far. Although yesterday we broke a high temp record, for this week in October.

In September, we enjoyed  a wonderful visit from Colman's youngest sister Rebecca and her boyfriend Tommie. She was in Houston taking a final round of medical school exams (as she wraps up her last year). Then flew over to Dallas to spend some time with us and Tommie joined her here. They were such a pleasure to have. Eva really bonded with Rebecca and as you can see in the pictures below, they could be sisters. By the end of the weekend they were both acting more like long lost sisters who had been reunited rather than two people who had just met for the first time. They enjoyed singing numerous Disney songs and Taylor Swift and even had a small dance party. Tommie endured it all with much patience!! We enjoyed sharing some iconic / traditional Texas places with them while they were in town.  (Reata , Stockyards, Downtown Square, Kimbell Art Museum...) We were sad to see them return to  New York, especially sweet Eva.

My grandparents have had some serious health issues this fall which has been very unnerving but more importantly shown us all the importance of family and connectedness. We are all very blessed to have each other and them! Both are doing better, and continue to be a blessing to all of us, love you Mimi and Tito.

We are enjoying having our new neighbors. Especially little Lilli who will be turning 1 next month!
Lilli joins us for a swim! Most adorable shark!!!
