Spring Break 2013: We spent the week having sleep overs, attending gymnastics camp and even had a nice visit from Bob, Cole's step dad who was in town from Boston, for a quick business trip to DFW. See pics below from a great week!
Eva turned 7 years old on April 3rd and we celebrated her birth by having a big play date at the house, the last weekend in March. We had approx. 20 kids in attendance ranging in age 1.5 -12! It was crazy busy but lots of fun was had by all. Colman grilled out, the kids ran around, eating and drinking everything. They rotated in and out of the bounce house, and Jacob even lost an already very loose tooth! Eva continues to change and grow in to a very beautiful young lady. We are so blessed to be her parents and share in this part of her journey. Focus of gifts this year: anything zebra print, arts and crafts, a bike and basketball. We are making a shift in to the next level of childhood and boy is it entertaining to watch! She is still missing her two front teeth, which make recent pictures true keepers for our senior year yearbook. :)
Colman and I are entering the very busy testing season in public education. To add to this already busy time, we are in the market for a new car... :( Yes, if you have not heard, the little station wagon is no longer. I totaled it one morning on the drive in to work... Thankfully no one was hurt and I had just dropped Eva off safely at school. The bike rack is in tact!! We will see if we can install it on new car, if not a new one will be in order.

Comments from Eva:
"You don't kiss me like that!" - said as she walks in to the kitchen and catches Colman and I hugging and kissing. She squeezed in to enjoy the moment. So nice that she recognizes and engages in the emotions of love and affection.
Her BFF Mikayla said to Eva as we drove up to the house for our sleep over " I like your house!" to which Eva asked "Why?" Mikayla responds "it's fancy", Eva "Yeah, I make it fancy..."
