May

We enjoyed a very quick and calendar filled month! Eva danced at Mayfest and it was very hot, but worth it... She and Mikayla were stars! A week later many family members and friends enjoyed watching the girls dance in their first recital at Will Rogers. As my long time friend Aimee said, it is kind of like a right of passage for Fort Worth girls. Well, Eva has done it and boy did she do it with style!

Mothers' Day- I missed spending the weekend with my mother but enjoyed a weekend in San Antonio with my little girl and the TCHS choir. While in San Antonio we visited Sea World, Fiesta Texas, had yummy food at various restaurants, watched the kids perform/ compete, coming away with all 1's! "Way to go, good job Timber Creek!!! - Eva" We also had a wonderful visit to the Natural Caverns.

Birthdays - We celebrated Amye's birthday on May 1st, Colmans' birthday on May 2nd and my birthday on May 26th. Eva loved all the cupcakes/cake!

The month wrapped up with senior pranks, which many of you were texting me about/ saw coverage in the news. I was actually not on campus for the events. I was with Eva and two of her girl friends at Fran and KT's pool for the afternoon. (Eva's last day of school and it was an early release day..) We were happy to have graduation come and go smoothly!

I have a couple more weeks of work ahead and then I look forward to enjoying some time at home getting organized... life insurance, living will, and cleaning out the garage / closets! Boy it is fun being a grow up! I do plan to make some time to relax at the pool and catch up with friends. Eva is already in the full swing of summer vacation and will be attending a few camps with Jacob and Mikayla over the summer.
